Is There a Direct Relationship Between Fat Loss and Muscle Gain?



While guru’s abound, and many people fall into the trap of buying this or that fad, some companies just don’t even come close to telling you what you really need to know about general areas of the body that will be affected by your new “getting healthy” regimen. In very few situations do the many (not all) books and tapes explain to you what is happening when you do this, when you stop eating that etc… Knowing how the changes will affect your fat loss muscle count is very important.

As most of you are aware, there really is very little new about this subject and premise. It’s simply that our understanding of things has grown, and frankly sometimes, you just can’t say the simple things enough times to get things across to some people, as some people “just know better”. For example, now, new information is coming to light that faster cardiovascular training is an integral component of a workout routine assisting in losing the final extra pounds. Working out first thing in the morning is certainly not the case or possible for every individual.

As you burn off that fat, it is essentially being burned up by your fat loss muscles. Here is the bottom line, with a well executed diet and exercise plan, you can literally create a perpetual motion machine in your body. What is this perpetual motion machine? When you exercise, you burn fat and you start to build muscle, which in turns burns extra fat and sequentially needs more fat to burn, so that the fats you eat today do not stay, but get burned continually, etc.

This is where fat loss muscle comes into play. This is not to say that there is only one way to go about this (exercising), simply that this is the most likely to have long lasting effects and more likely to give whole body health. It’s highy likely to become a regular routine for you than anything else tried. Critical to all these assumptions and designs is one overall compelling fact – if you don’t really want it to work, if you don’t really want to lose the weight, it won’t happen. You must really want it badly and be willing to sacrifice many things for it to be effective. Over and over again, this has been proven.

Fat loss muscle gain is just one of the many little ways that you can create an extra boost for your diet and nutrition program, a “boost” if you will coupled with a proven diet program is the way to a lean, fit body. Sticking with it or staying consistent with is really is the key.
