How You Can Lose Weight



Do you find dieting easy? Deciding which diet to follow can be tough as they all promise you amazing results. There are so many different types of diets you can feel like you are being pulled from pillar to post when trying to decide on a weight loss program and stick to it.

Usually, you begin a diet and do really well for a few days and then temptation comes tearing into your life and you cheat on your diet, and then you cheat some more and then some more and then you give up on your diet because it “didn’t work”.

Junk food is delicious. All the unhealthy food just tastes so good and is so enjoyable. The trouble is, most of this snack food is extremely unhealthy and full of calories. You will be surprised how much weight you can lose just by cutting out the junk food.

Secret 2 : Cut Out The Junk Food

Most people who diet just cut their calorie intake. Doing this sends a very powerful message to your body that says “DANGER – famine coming” and so your body stores fat so you can get through the famine. Successful dieters not only reduce their calorie intake, but they also increase their level of activity. They introduce some form of exercise into their everyday activities, which burns off additional calories. Find some type of exercise you like (walking the dog, a martial art, etc) and do it for 20-30 minutes four or five times a week.

Secret 3 : Daily Exercise

If I asked you what you ate yesterday, would you be able to tell me? We tend to put food in to our mouths on auto pilot and don't really notice what is going in. It's shockingly easy to eat a lot of junk food without every being consciously aware of it. Keep a journal of everything that you eat. Carry a small note book with you everywhere you go and write down in it anything and everything you eat. This will help you see exactly what you are eating and help you to work out which foods are better for you.

Secret 4 : Food Diary

A significant percentage of dieters have very unrealistic goals with their diet. They realize that the big event is just a few weeks ago and have to get rid of an unrealistic amount of weight by then. Usually this weight loss goal can only be achieved through amputation! Make sure you set realistic, achievable weight loss goals. If you do not then you will lose heart and set yourself up for failure.
